### Do I need a website to sell subscriptions on the web?

No. Web Purchase Links give you a hosted checkout page you can link to from anywhere — your app, an email, a social post, or an ad. If you do have a website, our Web SDK lets you embed a full paywall experience directly into your page.

### How do entitlements sync between web and mobile?

Automatically. When a user purchases on the web, RevenueCat entitlement system ensures their subscription is immediately active when they open your iOS or Android app. No custom syncing logic required.

### Can I use my existing Stripe or Paddle account?

Yes. You can connect your existing Stripe or Paddle account to RevenueCat. We will keep your web subscriptions in sync with your mobile subscribers in a single, unified record.

### Is this compliant with Apple and Google rules?

Yes, when used correctly. RevenueCat provides the infrastructure to comply with platform rules for both web-to-app and app-to-web purchases. For app-to-web, you must be enrolled in an approved program like Apple External Purchase Links. For web-to-app funnels, you have more flexibility. Compliance always depends on your specific implementation, so we recommend reviewing our documentation for details.

### What are the fees?

RevenueCat standard pricing applies, based on the monthly tracked revenue (MTR) that flows through your account. There are no extra fees for using RevenueCat Web. You will pay your payment processor fees separately (Stripe, Paddle, or our built-in RevenueCat Billing).

### How is RevenueCat Web different from RevenueCat Billing?

RevenueCat Web is the complete platform for selling on the web, including our Web SDK, Web Paywalls, and integrations. RevenueCat Billing is our own built-in billing engine (powered by Stripe) that you can use as part of RevenueCat Web. Think of it this way: RevenueCat Web is the platform; RevenueCat Billing is one of the engines you can use with it.
