One-tap purchases for paywalls on the web

You can now add one-tap purchases to web paywalls with Express Checkout. Customers can complete a purchase directly on the paywall using Apple Pay or Google Pay, without being sent to a separate checkout page.

Express Checkout places a native wallet button on the paywall when it’s shown in the browser. When a customer taps it, the device’s native payment prompt opens immediately and the transaction completes in one step. There’s no redirect, no form entry, and no extra decision between “yes” and “paid.”

This removes an entire page from the funnel at the moment of decision. It reduces drop-off without changing pricing, products, or offers. When a native wallet isn’t available, the standard checkout flow appears automatically, so purchases always have a fallback.

Express Checkout works for web, app-to-web, and web-to-app flows, giving you a faster purchase experience anywhere your paywall lives.
