Add text input fields to your web funnels

You can now add a Text Input component to any step in your web funnels. This lets you collect free-form data like email addresses, names, or phone numbers before a user reaches checkout.

In the Funnels editor, drag the Text Input component onto your page. You can configure the placeholder text, require a response to block navigation, and set the keyboard type to default, email, number, or phone. When a user submits their response, it saves as a subscriber attribute in RevenueCat.

This is useful when you want to capture leads early in your onboarding flow. You get the user's contact information even if they drop off before completing a purchase. You can also reuse their responses as variables on later funnel pages to personalize the experience.
