Vent Now doubles its business on Early Payouts

Vent Now was waiting weeks for app store revenue. With Early Payouts, it reinvests in TikTok and Meta ads the next business day, and has grown more than 20% month over month since winter.

Since turning on Early Payouts, we've doubled the size of our business by being able to reinvest income back into our growth channels right away.

Co-founder and CEO, Vent Now

Vent Now has been profitable since it started, with its two founders largely funding growth through the business itself. But when they looked for money to reinvest in the paid channels that were working, app store revenue took weeks to arrive. “If you haven’t raised money, you’re cash flow constrained,” says co-founder and CEO Jack Retterer.

Vent Now switched on RevenueCat’s Early Payouts, which advances up to 80% of App Store and Play Store proceeds so apps don’t have to wait for the stores to pay out. Store revenue started landing the next business day, and the money went directly back into the channels driving growth, for Vent Now that was TikTok and Meta ads. Jack says growth has run at more than 20% month over month since the winter, and credits a fair amount of that to being cash flow positive.

“Without Early Payouts, we wouldn’t have ever been in this position,” says Jack. Money coming in faster lets the team be more ambitious, which he sees as critical in such a competitive category. The change was as much about mindset as budget, says Jack.

Vent Now can turn Early Payouts on and off, accessing app store revenue as it comes in when needed.

Early Payouts requires a US entity and RevenueCat account in good standing. Deposits for payout requests received after 10pm PST, over the weekend or bank holidays will be processed next business day. RevenueCat is not a bank. Banking services are provided by Core Bank, Member FDIC. Deposits are FDIC insured up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, subject to limitations. FDIC insurance covers the failure of an insured bank.
