CookShelf 3x its paying members with Early Payouts
CookShelf's successful Meta campaigns were difficult to scale because app store revenue arrived about eight weeks later. Early Payouts helped the team reinvest faster and more than triple paying members.
We’ve 3x the number of paying members from the beginning of the year.

CookShelf's ads on Meta were paying off, but getting paid took about eight weeks: a two-week trial, the conversion, then Apple’s payout.
“We were constrained on scaling ads that were objectively working,” says founder and CEO Katie Thacher. And she didn’t want to raise more money to do so: “I didn’t want to go to VCs and say ‘hey, I need $100,000 so I can run some paid ads,’” she says.
Katie heard about Early Payouts on the Sub Club podcast and signed up immediately. Once onboarded, instead of waiting eight weeks, CookShelf started getting its store revenue right away.
The extra cash let Katie reinvest in ads while they were still working, and paying members have more than tripled since the start of the year.
CookShelf can easily pause Early Payouts whenever they want with one toggle on their dashboard. “Probably what I love the most is that I could turn it off,” says Katie.
Early Payouts requires a US entity and RevenueCat account in good standing. Deposits for payout requests received after 10pm PST, over the weekend or bank holidays will be processed next business day. RevenueCat is not a bank. Banking services are provided by Core Bank, Member FDIC. Deposits are FDIC insured up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, subject to limitations. FDIC insurance covers the failure of an insured bank.
