Building an app has gotten faster. Turning it into a successful business still takes work: understanding your customers, finding the right offer, testing what converts, and giving people a reason to stay.
At App Growth Annual last week, we announced new tools to help with each of those jobs. Some are available today, others are entering public beta, and a few offer a preview of where RevenueCat is going next.
Together, they bring more of the work of growing an app into RevenueCat, from building your first paywall to understanding revenue across subscriptions and ads.
Available now
Build and refine paywalls with AI
Describe the paywall you want, and the Paywalls AI Editor will build it. You can also start with a screenshot, ask for changes, and keep refining the design through conversation.
Underneath the design, you still have RevenueCat’s paywall infrastructure connecting your products, purchases, and data. That means less time between having an idea for a paywall and having something ready to test.
Take customers from the web into your app with Funnels
RevenueCat Funnels lets you build and launch web-to-app funnels using the same editing engine as RevenueCat Paywalls.
Build your web experience, connect checkout, and help customers move from their purchase on the web into your app. RevenueCat handles the connections that make that transition work, so you have fewer pieces to assemble yourself.
Funnels has no additional platform fee. Funnel revenue counts toward your monthly tracked revenue and is subject to RevenueCat’s standard pricing, plus applicable payment processing fees.
See Experiment results in real time
Experiments results now update in real time, so you can follow a test without waiting for the next daily refresh.
Results also include predicted 12-month LTV, helping you compare variants beyond their initial conversion rates. A variant that converts more customers today may have a different long-term outlook, and those predictions give you more information to work with when deciding what to ship.
Once you’ve made that decision, you can roll out the winning variant in one click.
Bring RevenueCat into your AI tools
The AI Toolkit gives your AI assistant the RevenueCat context and tools to help you set up monetization, ship paywalls, troubleshoot purchases, and understand performance.
It includes skills, the RevenueCat MCP, and the RevenueCat CLI, which lets you or your agent run commands from the terminal. One plugin install sets up the skills and MCP server in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and VS Code.
Ask your agent to review your monetization setup, investigate trial conversion, or summarize experiment results, then keep working in the tools you already use.
Expand web checkout with RevenueCat Web
RevenueCat Web lets customers complete a purchase on the web and access what they’ve bought in your app. You can sell through RevenueCat Billing, Stripe Billing, or Paddle Billing, and use the same paywalls, funnels, and customer data across web and mobile.
RevenueCat Billing also supports app-to-web purchases, letting customers start in your app, complete checkout on the web, and return with access to their purchase.
In the EU, Apple’s new terms let you offer your own checkout inside your app at 20% commission. In-app checkout works with Stripe Billing and Paddle Billing today, with RevenueCat Billing to follow. RevenueCat handles the transaction reporting Apple requires, so you don’t have to build your own reporting integration.
Understand customer groups with Audiences
Audiences lets you group customers by shared characteristics and understand how different groups use and pay for your app.
Create an Audience using subscription status, customer attributes, or acquisition source. Membership updates in real time as customers’ information changes, keeping those groups current.
You can use Audiences to filter charts, explore customer segments, and export groups for further analysis. They’re also a foundation for the new targeting and ad monetization capabilities currently in beta.
Access your proceeds sooner with Early Payouts
The time between earning revenue and the app store paying you can make it harder to fund acquisition, cover expenses, or invest in your next release.
Early Payouts lets qualifying apps advance up to 80% of app store proceeds at a 2.5% fee. The remaining 20% arrives on your normal payday, with no fee on that remaining payout. Fees only apply to the amount you advance.
You can choose automatic advances or draw funds when you need them, with no minimum usage requirement and the ability to pause.
At RAGA, we also announced plans to expand to 13 additional countries, including the UK, France, and Canada.
$100 minimum transaction amount applies for on demand payouts. RevenueCat is not a bank. Banking services are provided by Core Bank, Member FDIC. Deposits are FDIC insured up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, subject to limitations.
Now in public beta
Meet Rico, your agent inside RevenueCat
Rico is RevenueCat’s new in-dashboard AI agent. Ask Rico a question like ‘How much revenue did we make in Germany last month?’ Then, ask follow-up questions to dig into the numbers.
Rico can also take action. Ask it to set up an Experiment or build a Paywall, so you can move from a question to trying an idea without navigating every step yourself.
The AI Toolkit brings RevenueCat into your existing tools. Rico gives you a way to work conversationally while you’re already in the dashboard.
See ad revenue alongside purchases
Subscriptions and in-app purchases may only tell part of your app’s revenue story. Ad Monetization brings in-app ad revenue into RevenueCat so you can see customer lifetime value across hybrid monetization.
That gives you a fuller view of what customers earn for your business, including those who use your app without ever making a purchase.
Ad activity can also inform your Audiences and Experiments, connecting what you learn about ad engagement with how you segment customers and test monetization experiences.
Reward ad-views through the AdMob integration
Rewarded Ads lets you give customers in-app currency or temporary access to paid features in exchange for watching an ad. Through the AdMob integration, RevenueCat verifies that a customer earned the reward and delivers it. For example, a customer could watch an ad to earn coins or unlock a premium feature for 30 minutes, with RevenueCat managing those rewards alongside purchases and subscription access.
Coming next
Match each moment to the right experience with Targeting by Checkpoint
Targeting by Checkpoint is coming soon. Choose what to show customers based on where they are in your app and which Audience they belong to. Then, run Experiments to learn what works best. A checkpoint is a location or moment you add to your app, such as finishing onboarding or trying to access a premium feature. Once it’s implemented, you can configure rules in the RevenueCat dashboard to control what customers see there. For example, a run-training app could show a marathon-focused paywall to customers who selected marathon training as their goal during onboarding. At the same checkpoint, customers who arrived through a particular ad campaign could see a paywall that matches the campaign’s message.
You’ll be able to run Experiments directly within those targeting rules. Test different paywalls or multi-step flows for a specific Audience at a specific checkpoint, with the rules and variants managed together.
Targeting by Checkpoint also allows you to reuse a single Offering across multiple paywalls, so you don’t have to duplicate it every time you want to try a new paywall design.
Support for additional experiences, including ads and offers, is planned to give you more ways to tailor monetization to each customer and moment.
