Send Scheduled Data Exports as download links over email
This article shows you how to configure Email as a Scheduled Data Exports destination. By the end, you'll receive export download links in your inbox. You don't need your own cloud storage bucket.
Email uses the same plan availability as other Scheduled Data Exports destinations. See Scheduled Data Exports for details.
Once you've configured the Email integration in RevenueCat, allow up to 24 hours before the first file is delivered.
Setup
1. Create the Email integration
Open Integrations → Scheduled Data Exports, then choose Scheduled Data Exports (Email). If the integration is not active yet, click Configure.
You do not need a cloud storage bucket or credentials. RevenueCat stores the export files and emails download links to the addresses you configure.
2. Add recipients
Choose who should receive each delivery. Recipients must be the project owner or a collaborator. Invite them to the project if they aren't listed.
| Field | Required |
|---|---|
| Recipient emails | Yes |
| Notification subject | No |
You can select up to 25 recipients. Notification subject is an optional prefix (up to 200 characters) that appears on the email subject line.
3. Configure feeds and delivery options
Choose the same feed, column, frequency, and format options you would on a cloud storage destination:
- Enable the feeds you want and pick their columns. See Selecting columns for an export.
- Set Next export start time, frequency, and output format (CSV or Parquet).
- For large CSV exports, you can enable Split export into multiple files.
See Scheduled Data Exports for feed, frequency, and format details.
Receive new and updated transactions only
You can receive a full export daily, or only new and updated transactions since the last export. The first delivery is always a full export, even if you select this option.
How delivery works
Each completed export sends an email to every recipient. The email includes a download link for each file in that delivery. RevenueCat does not attach the files.
Download links expire after 7 days. Multi-file deliveries include one download button per file. That includes Parquet exports and CSV exports with Split export into multiple files.
